Philip Bowling-Dyer (00) began working as
the National Director of Black Campus Ministries in September. He
will supervise more than 60 staff in their work with 2,300 students.
Mason Brown (56) celebrated 50 years in the
ministry in August.
Ray Bryson (56) has been teaching history and
Bible classes at South Shores Baptist Church in Monarch Beach, Calif.
since retiring from Newport Schools. He has travelled to over 40
countries and plans to take children and grandchildren on a cruise
next year for his 50th wedding anniversary.
David Seth (98) is stepping down as executive
director at Bible Institute of Hawaii. He will be taking a consulting
position with a local firm that provides development services to
the nonprofit community in Hawaii.
Caleb Shikles (39) has retired after 60 years
in ministry. He also lost his wife, Carol, on June 13, 2002.
Aidsand Wright-Riggins (75) received his doctorate
in ministry in May 2002. The executive director of National Ministries,
American Baptist Churches USA, Wright-Riggins earned the degree
from Virginia Union Universitys Samuel DeWitt Proctor School
of Theology in Richmond, Va.
Karen Yee (97) recently celebrated her fifth
anniversary as a full-time pastor at First Baptist Church of Alameda,
Calif.
