SEMINAR EXPLORES LIFELONG SPIRiTUALITY

A seminar on the importance of spirituality through all life stages drew 23 participants to ABSW in April. Seminarians, retirement community administrators, chaplins, pastors and laity attended.

“Spirituality Throughout Life’s Journey: Harvesting Life’s Wisdom” was jointly sponsored by the seminary, American Baptist Homes and Hospitals Association, American Baptist Homes of the West, and American Baptist Churches of the West.

Participants explored the meaning of spirituality in faith-based organizations and ways to nurture spirituality in others and in themselves.

“There was good energy and positive response to the day-long experience,” said the Rev. Dayle Scott, special assistant to ABSW’s president and instructor in religious education.
