ABSW'S NEW LOGO

A new mission and the rehabilitation of the seminary’s historic main building have inspired the design of a new logo for the American Baptist Seminary of the West.

The cross is central in this new identity, affirming the seminary’s Christ-centered focus. The cross design is modeled on the St. Cuthbert cross found throughout Hobart Hall, ABSW’s main building.

The fluid lines of the cross capture the forward-movement of the seminary and its openness to venture as God leads.

The three colors represent the diversity of ABSW and the multicultural, multiracial community of learning it seeks to create and model.
