ALUMNI/AE NEWS Marilyn Broome (’03) was licensed into Christian
ministry on June 9 at First Baptist Church in Salinas, Calif. Richard Chung (’95) married Connie Ho on June
1 in Monterey Park, Calif. Susan Criscione (’02) and Daniel Pryfogle (’01)
co-facilitated a weeklong experience for students from National
Ministries’ New Life Youth Media Project at the “Can You
See It?” conference in August in Colorado Springs, Co. Alvin Fischer (’54) and his wife, Mary, celebrated
their 50th wedding anniversary in June. Glenn Gano (’54) and his wife, Mary, participated
in two mission trips to Hong Kong and Thailand and spent August
2001 in Japan. Laura Keller (’02) has been accepted into a
yearlong clinical pastor education program at Sutter Medical Hospital
in Davis, Calif. Jack Kiekel (’56) has accepted an invitation
by the M&M Board of Directors to call on all benefit recipients
in Washington and Oregon. Eleanor Morgan (’98) was ordained on June 16
at Allen Temple Baptist Church in Oakland, Calif. Tom Murphy (’61) retired from full-time ministry
on June 1 and is now working part time in a small mission congregation
in northeast Washington. William P. Nagle (’68) recently retired from
private practice in marriage and family therapy. Curtis Price (’00) has accepted the call to
be pastor of Wedgewood Community Church in Seattle, Wash. Marie Pueblos (’04) married Frank Onwubuariri on June 16.
